• Complete an IN-PROGRESS iPhone AND Android App $1500.00 USD

  “DO NOT HIRE! WARNING! Freelancer was completely unable to complete the project. I allowed them to set their own deadlines, in hopes it would encourage them to stay true to them. Also allowed them to set their own budget (larger than the budget they initially 'bid' on the project). They missed every single deadline that they set. Every single one. In the end, I was provided no code whatsoever. I was updated rarely (and when I was, it was clearly a lie). My favorite: Once, while waiting days for an update and emails going un-responded to, I got a reply: "Sorry, I was with my friends". They stopped trying after a while. It turned into "sorry, I just didn't want to reply because I was busy hanging out with my buds for about a week". This was, without a doubt, the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. I employ three contractors full-time. And about 4-5 more at any given time on a project basis. I have never encountered someone who lies this much, misleads this much, and ignores this much. Further, the most frustrating part: After a while it became complete clear they had no ability to finish the project. I mean that at it's most basic level. They literally did not have the skills required to complete the work. Even though they bid on it. Even though we spent days diving into source code and discussing needs. They pretended to understand everything and agree just to get my deposit. I paid $1500 up front. I received NOTHING. DO NOT HIRE! WARNING!”
