Used in hospitals to display patient name on bedroom door. System in coupled at patient information system. Central unit acts like FTP server and can handle several text oriented file formats. Names are automatically distributed to display units. System is up and running now for several years at "Deventer ziekenhuis". Technical description: System consist of 2 parts: 1. Central control and power unit: Delivers power to displays. Delivers data to displays. 2. Display in door: Placed in Patient bedrooms. Display's name of patient occupying the room.
