3D Modelling of Robot

The first stage of this assignment to was to design an unique solar pwered car. The design must meet the requrements given, which werer a maximum area of 15000mm x 1800mm. The disgn must be similar or influence by the dimensional criteria meet the specification for WSC Challenge Class cars. These requirements meant that the car must be aerodynamic to make it move easier through the air, also it mass must be to a minimum. As it is going to be moving by solar energy, a high consideration must be taken into account of the number of solar planes that can be used. The maximum number allowed was 48 panels, so therefore the design had to have space for them. First point of design was placing the parts needed around the drive. These were the drive, seat, battery, two motorised wheels and an un-driven wheel. These part where positioned in this way using the front, right and top plane of the drive and seat assembly.
