Alitsy Task Manager is a desktop application that is designed to schedule and complete predefined automation tasks. Where possible, tasks can be scheduled to run before the beginning of the work day so that employees can start working on value-added activities from the moment they come in. The system notifies relevant stakeholders by e-mail when unexpected events occur (e.g., source data is not available).\n\nHere is a non-exhaustive list of tasks the Alitsy Task Manager typically performs:\n- Download and store files from FTP sites, web sites, and network locations;\n- Parse information from Web pages, PDF/Excel/Word documents, and other types of files;\n- Monitor the mailbox for specific e-mail messages and process the body of the e-mail and/or attachments;\n- Import data into internal databases and synchronise data across multiple systems;\n- Generate and distribute automated reports in a variety of formats;\n- Interface with and/or operate third-party applications.
