I have worked at the core of an experimental portal project for AUDEOSOFT AG ([login to view URL]). The idea was to analyze the results of a large range of search engines in order to extract resumes by categories with a higher rate of accuracy.
I developed a structure of patterns based on other patterns for extracting the plain text from the web pages and scoring of the content. I used a wrapper around the .NET Framework regular expression engine, which offers reliability, stability speed and rich features in comparison with the Perl wrappers available on the market.. The project was including also a multi-language profile based website, several specialized service applications for acquiring the content and parsing. The database search was implemented using SQL Server text search feature.
