Acting as IT Manager in day-to-day duties and being responsible of maintaining the key IT systems including Citrix XenApp Farm, VMware, Active Directory, MS Exchange, IIS, McAfee EPO, WSUS and Support Desk.
Managing network equipment such as Watchguard Firewalls, Barracuda spam filters, various routers and switches.
Responsible for purchasing IT equipment for the company and looking after the company mobile phones, fixed lines, dealing with suppliers, negotiating contracts, purchasing IT services and billing. Supporting 500 users spread out in EMEA, US and APAC regions. Set up regional users when they commence with the company and ensure that they receive basic introductory training in the company’s IT systems.
Trouble-shooting for the main PC/Laptop, Printers, and Network software and hardware problems in the remote offices when needed.
