Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1976 and migrated to France in 1994. I worked for 5 years asInfographics editor at the France Press Agency (AFP), 3rd most important global news agency. At the AFP, I was responsible of designing current news and breaking news infographics (made in a few hours) and covering major events like the 2006 World Cup, the Euro 2008, the 2004 and 2008 Olympics, presidential and legislative elections, among other events for their publication in national and international Medias. Since January 2010, I´m the Head of the Web Design department of the Mexico's Presidency. Main responsibilities are the design of animated and print graphics, motion graphics and videos for the Presidency Website - presidencia.gob.mx-, from planning to execution. I’m Anibal, Argentinean/ French self-taught learner infographics designer. I started my career as infographics designer at the Agence France-Presse agency covering world major events. On 2010, I moved to Mexico, where I became the head of the Web Design Department of the Mexico's Presidency where we had to provide graphic solutions to the Government's requests, while respecting specifications and in line with the communication strategy. Since 2012 I have been working as a freelance infographic data visualization designer for [login to view URL], a community platform for data visualization, videos and computer graphics, which has allowed me to work with companies such as National Geographics, Delos, Dell, Carter Center, Lancôme, UNICEF, Bosch, Lynda or even Visa. In 2021, I was contacted by Le Point, the French “Newsweek” magazine, to collaborate with the creation of maps, vector illustrations and infographics. This year 2022, I have also been doing infographics on complex subjects for Your-Comics, a creative agency expert in visual de-complexification.
