Project Duration Jan 08 – till date Description: GeoPing is a GPS tracking mobile client application for the Nokia Series 60 mobile phones. A user’s GPS location data is periodically communicated from the mobile phone to a GPS Server over GPRS. The server software further processes the location information into a contextual posting language then posts (displays) it on the user’s unique Facebook web site via the geoPing web application and Facebook API. It provides many other features such as locating near by friend, viewing and editing your own location blog etc., Currently we are going through the alpha release of the application. Roles and Responsibilities As a Developer, my responsibilities in the Full SDLC of the project include: 1. Interaction with clients for project related issues, clarifications in Business requirements (BR) documents and SRS. 2. Handling Backend and business logic related activities using Hibernate and web development using JSP and Spring MVC. 3. Vine Portal is a B2B application, which provides a supply chain alliance for companies to come together to protect themselves and the industry from the risks of the secondary market. It provides a platform, where by anonymously exposing their surpluses to one another. Verical members create a secure source of inventory that comes only from other members of the network. With an exclusive peer network of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and component manufacturers, Verical aims to consolidate the fragmented market by enabling transparent and reliable transactions amongst its member corporations. In short VINE enables Verical to involve with its suppliers, buyers and carriers. It helps suppliers to manage and sell their surplus inventory to buyers. It also helps the suppliers to buy their shortages through Verical. It helps the Verical BPO Team to process orders. Roles and Responsibilities As a Developer, my responsibilities in the Full SDLC of the project include: 4. Performing a detailed study on the product involved. 5. Project Electronic Bill of Lading (EBOL) Client FuelQuest, Houston Team Size 15 Environment Java, Struts, JBoss, Oracle, Hibernate, Spring, XML, CVS and Windows Project Duration Aug 06 – Dec 06 Description: An EBOL (Electronic Bill Of Lading) is a bill of lading, which is interfaced into FMS from a data transmission service provider or the supplier directly. A bill of lading is a receipt of the product lifted at a supply terminal from a particular supplier with volume measurements and other load information. In this system, XML files are sent to FMS (Fuel Management System) for processing to create bills of lading in the FuelQuest Portal. An image BOL is an exact replica of the information transferred into FMS using the EBOL interface. From an image BOL, a bill of lading is created in FMS with the information received via the interface. Roles and Responsibilities 1. Developed the Translation, EBOL generation and EBOL Matching modules of this project. 2. Development using Java, JSP, Struts, Hibernate and XML parsing. 3. Project IMS Prototype development Client Persistent Systems Team Size 3 Tools Java,Swing, JAIN SIP API, JMF API, SIP Servlet RI Project Duration May 05 – Oct 05 Description: Project involves design and development of a SIP client and application on SIP Servlet-RI. • SIP Client was developed in Java using JAIN SIP, JMF API’s and swings for UI, which will communicate with the application running over SIP Servlet-RI to retrieve Multimedia contents. • SIP Application developed on SIP Servlet RI, handles SIP client request for multimedia and establishes a session with client. After session establishment this hands over the task of media transmission to media application. This media application is developed over JMF, which does the transfer of media to the client though RTP. Roles and Responsibilities 1. Studied the Protocols (RTP, RTSP, SIP) and standards (IMS) 2.
