Senior Programmer Analyst
Retained to transition the company from a paper-based medical billing system to electronic medical billing. Was the lead analyst/programmer on the project and conducted the full life-cycle development effort. Interviewed front office personnel to develop and specify workflow procedures and develop the GUI interfaces for the systems . Designed the data access forms and the database. Worked with the State and other payers to develop and test data formatting requirement and data transmission protocols. Developed training manuals and trained staff in the use of the system.

Senior Programmer/Analyst
Recruited to transition insurance claims re-pricing application from FoxPro. On this project was the lead developer. The documentation for the existing system was almost non-existing. Was responsible for reading the code, testing the various components of the system and developing the specifications for the new system. Evaluated alternative platforms for the new systems and developed cost benefit analysis of alternative recommendations. Developed the application using Visual Basic .Net and the existing Oracle RDBMS. Completed database design and did a complete data migration from FoxPro to Oracle. Did most of the programming and testing of the systems and successfully implemented the system. Was responsible for installation on the users' works stations and user training and support.
