Barry Powell is a man of many skills - from creative brainstorming, to hands - on construction and many things in-between. "My friends and colleagues call me 'The Fixer' because I'm the guy they call when they need something fixed or when they need something designed beyond expectation." The Dallas/Fort Worth Metropolis has been Barry's home for twenty years. He appreciates the area's creative and diverse culture and it has influenced his work. Yet, his major source of inspiration comes from his travels. Whether it be a road-trip through the old South, or a trans-Atlantic flight to Europe, he finds the culture is in the senses. "The sights, sounds, smells, and tastes stay with you," Barry says, "A culture's art, cuisine, fashion and lifestyle become a part of you once you've experienced it."
