Ghostlight is the sister company to Laughing Jackal and specialises in bringing Japanese RPG titles to the European market. I was asked to create a blog to compliment the Ghostlight webstore and to be the main focus for releasing news to their customer base replacing a news section on the main site that was not interactive. Utilising the same CMS system I created for Laughing Jackal I used the blog module from this to run the Ghostlight blog on a new subdomain. Zurb Foundation was integrated at a later date to give users a better experience on small screens. Livefyre soon replaced the commenting system so that the users could interact with Ghostlight more easily.
About Me
I'm a web designer and php developer with on the job experience going back to 2008 (although I started programming in my spare time long before that). I previously worked in the games industry creating landing pages, mini-sites, blogs, custom CMS and ecommerce stores (Magento). I especially enjoy responsive design using Zurb Foundation and focus on ease of use and site loading speed (which Google loves). Responsive design means your website looks just as good on mobile as it does on larger screens. I have experience in html, css, javascript (jQuery), responsive design (Zurb Foundation) As well as front-end design I also code in Php and have experience with CodeIgniter, Phalcon and also MySQL databases.
