Stairs as a multipurpose complex
Stairs are beyond only connections between the floors of a building. they serve as props for expressing the ideas of the architect. stairs are utilitarian but can also be sculptural and poetic. they establish functionality while embodying the thoughts of their author. further -more, their material, form and interaction with the human body make them an extremely tactile affair. space is generated by extending lines in the 3 axes, followed by creating a series of planes, relating each other. 3 dimensionality is achieved through intersecting the planes in respective axes.
