History Preserved
This December 2011 story focuses on a local man who was a survivor of the Pearl Harbor attacks in 1941. He is among the last of his kind, as survivors are reaching their 90s. His story is preserved in a simple book he wrote and self-published. He wrote the book for his family but found a small market for students of World War II history. This file is a two-page PDF.
Sobre Mim
I have nearly 10 years of experience in writing and editing, having spent nearly eight as a daily newspaper reporter. I am now moving into other forms of writing as a freelancer. I plan to enroll in Boise State in January 2013 and eventually earn a masters of English in rhetoric and composition. With that degree, I'll pursue a college teaching career while continuing to freelance.
