E-store for building materials with more than 10k positions
The task was to develop an advanced e-store. Design was present. The website should have the following functional features: - number of items - over 11 000; - catalogue of goods; - searching; - shopping cart: adding items via ajax calls, the data remain stored in the car until it either clears or the purchase is completed, cart management via ajax calls (cancellation, changing the count of items, deleting of the rows, refreshing); - dynamic calculation of delivery costs due to the delivery address and the route calculation services of google maps. Distances are calculated on the basis of the route (not as a geometric distance between two points); - payment options (checkout, paypal); - registration, password recovery; - customer Profile - history of orders, change of personal data; - two side xml-exchange with an ERP system (orders vs items data); - dynamic seo meta data generation; - jquery banner with 5 changing images; All this is done from scratch using own CMS & Z
