Robert Dwayne McGinnis was inspired to be in the music business at the early age of 12 years of by his cousin, The Legendary King of Country, Conway Twitty. The Blues style music also had a major influence on the development of his songwriting talent. He was raised in the Mississippi Delta where the “Cross Roads” intersection of HWY 49 and HWY 61, and legend has it the Blues style music originally began. From his young exposure to Country and Blues styles music came a musical ability that transformed him into a talented performing songwriter with his own original style of Gospel Blues Music. Now living in Alabama, in addition to being an accomplished performing songwriter, his music career has launched him to composer, music supervisor, and songwriter/producer of his own television show. The Show’s popularity continues to expand and presently encompass a regional audience in Northwest Alabama, and Northeast Mississippi. The field related skills he has acquired as a result of this popular local tv broadcast includes creating clips for internet uploads, extracting audio from prerecorded broadcast for CD audio compilations,composing and customizing musical arrangements according to pitch,tempo,and speed, and as musical supervisor and director of the tv broadcast, ensuring a quality and enjoyable finished tv program line up for the viewing audience. His degrees in Electronics Technology and Telecommunications gives him insight concerning electronic troubleshooting and design issues and with and added advantage to implement ideas for potential growth of the tv program.
