Of course, the top priority is to develop a fast loading web site that is also visually appealing. We follow the follwing 6 step program to designing your website. Step 1: Understand Your Needs The first step is a phone conference to help us understand what your needs are. Once we've established your requirements and budget, we will produce a written project plan, quote and schedule estimate. This usually takes no more than two business days from the time of the phone call and is free of charge. Step 2: The Design Once the project has been signed off on, we begin the design process. This is usually done in parallel with hosting setup and e-commerce setup, if applicable. The design process typically takes one to two weeks, depending on your feedback. Design is billed at a rate of $80 per hour. For most sites, we usually quote between four and eight hours of design work, with changes based on client feedback factored in. In many cases, this is simply the development of HTML pages; in other cases there may be custom application coding, such as integration with a shopping cart. Development costs can vary widely; an HTML-only site may cost as little as $250, whereas a complex database-driven web application can run into the thousands of dollars. Step 4: Testing For most sites, testing is straightforward process of making sure all pages load properly in most browsers, the links work, and any application hooks behave properly. Testing usually takes less than a day and the cost is included in the development quote. Ongoing Support After your site is up and running, our commitment to you continues. Wx3 will provide timely and reliable support. If you need updates or maintenance, we will be happy to help. If any problems arise as a result of a defect in one of our products or services, technical support is provided free of charge. Site Promotion Now that your site is on the web, how will you drive traffic to it? We can advise you on how best to promote your site using traditional marketing tools, as well as using online means to drive traffic such as CPC ("cost-per-click") advertising on search engines like Goggle and Yahoo!
