Undergraduate Research and Scholarship Program
I wrote a grant to Southern Utah University's UGRASP program for $500 to fund a photography/writing project. I was required to receive IRB (Institutional Review Board) approval before beginning my project since I would be interviewing during the process of researching material for my book. The grant was accepted Dec. 2 2011.

I have been an active member of the Cedar City, Utah community for 18 years. Festival City, as it has come to be known, is home to just under 30,000 residents, and is known for its local arts and music scene. Festivals like Utah Shakespeare Festival, Groovefest American Music Festival, and the Utah Midsummer Renaissance Faire draw visitors from across the globe to our humble community. Nestled into the side of the Utah Rocky Mountain range in Beautiful Southern Utah, Cedar City has become my home despite my deep connection to my South Jersey roots.
