I use vba extensively for web scraping, data analysis, alternative data analytics, automation etc. to help generate investment thesis. I have found myself become more and more interested in coding rather than merely using it as a tool for financial research. Vba has all sorts of unconventional uses and is often undermined. Java was the language I used back in university, but Vba is my forte. Currently pursuing a micro masters degree in Statistics and Data Science. New here at freelancer, but with extensive data mining and data analysis experience in the real world.
