Who the heck are we? Good question. Glad you asked. The company is Gyst 4 Fun Limited. That is a quick and easy story. GYST is short for Get Your Stuff(?) Together. We have been doing exactly that for our clients for over 20 years, in various ways. We could be doing it just to pay the bills, but no! Even after all this time, we do it...4 Fun. ’Gist’ also means overview, a fact not lost on us. We like to think we have a good understanding of what our clients want, because unlike some, we don’t tell you, we shut up and let you tell us. We provide true one-stop shopping for graphic design and computer production services, whether print, signage, web or multimedia; as well as being experienced network managers, hardware technicians, software designers, and office automaters. Brief history: From an office administration background, we soon learned to automate repetitive tasks so we could take lunch breaks. Moving to management, we learned to leverage software to do the monthly reports, again so we could take lunch breaks. Key account management becomes a lot easier when the computer reminds you when the cheques are due, checks the inventory and fires reports to the CEO over email. Range selling is easy when sales stats are built in, streamlining workflow and increasing revenue. We got a pay rise, a promotion, a nice office and took some seriously long lunch breaks. Then... Around 1998 we decided to strike out on our own as consultants. At that time also, we expanded our skills to include web and graphic design, and have to date produced signage, sales brochures and catalogues, ISO handbooks, and product packaging, as well as the more obvious business cards, flyers, menus and posters. Our web design goes hand in hand with our competitively priced hosting solutions, in our state-of-the-art facilities. Because of our wide range of practical experience, we are uniquely suited to coordinate your computerised requirements: Marketing materials, web presence, admin and office systems, mailing lists, newsletters and more, providing as much or as little help as you need, tying it all together with a nice ribbon on the top. Gyst also created the programme, place cards, artwork and ‘welcome’ video backdrop for the recent very succesful AGM.
