I was in charge of all marketing/advertising for the resort and all on property facilities. This included the 160 room hotel, a full service restaurant, 2200 seat theatre, indoor/outdoor water park, and 56 luxury timeshare lodges. I developed marketing and advertising plans, budgets, and campaigns. This included all print; magazines, brochures, posters, newspaper, television, radio, online campaigns; banners, landing pages, collaboration on website designs & updates, email campaigns, POS campaigns, billboard concepts and campaigns. I also worked closely with corporate and local advertising agency, negotiating all media buys. I established coordinated and analyzed co-op programs that are still in use today. Also collected and compiled data to analyze the effectiveness of all advertising /marketing campaigns by using Crystal Reports development and geographical mapping software. I introduced saturation maps that helped determine new markets for advertising. I also worked closely with local CVB, clubs and associations and sit on PR & Marketing committees for these groups. I helped determine new entertainment for the theatre by sitting on our entertainment committee and analyze data and costs to determine the cost effectiveness of said entertainer. I also worked closely with these entertainers on a day to day basis for promotions and interviews.
