My name is Chachi Diaz and I am a freelance web designer/graphic designer. You may be asking yourself why I prefer to work under a different name and the answer to that question is simple! It is my belief that a name says a lot. I enjoy and welcome the opportunity to explain why we use the name: Day Eight Media. It is grounded in a theological reason, actually. There once was someone who explained that day eight was the day when the real work began. Day eight was the day when God and man worked together to renew their broken relationship and started to build the world. I feel it appropriate to work under this name to welcome all who will come to me to help build an identity on the web in hopes of generating new leads and creating a new avenue for business. I started this small company as a side project. I felt I had an overlow of creativity and I needed a cup to pour it in and well, out came Day Eight Media. Also, I soon realized how difficult and expensive it was to get yourself on the web, not to mention how time consuming it all was. If there was simple, small business that wanted to get a web identity then there was a lot of obstacles that could get in the way. I sort of felt like it was a bit unfair So, my hope is that I can aid small business in some way, providing for them new avenues, easier avenues, to achieve the success they desire. As a person, I believe myself to be very personable, therefore I run my business as such. I will always do my best to work directly with the clients and hear them out. It is my commitment to try to the best of my ability to understand exactly what the client wants. This is Day Eight Media.
