Tim Smith, a graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design, formed Design by Tim Smith as an identity for his design. Continually inspired by the handcrafted, almost every design from Tim Smith takes its first breath in a sketchbook. In an industry of trends and fads, experience has shown that constantly looking to what others are doing dries up creativity. He has found that his inspiration usually comes though visual experimentation and exploration of a subject through unconventional approaches.
