Project is the platform for one discipline distance education. It is possible to obtain education with the system assistance individually or in a group. Students study through watching lectures and elaborating educational materials to pass course exams. The course is the video lecture synchronized with the slides and additional materials for student to study. Special solution based on AJAX/Javascript was developed for video and slides synchronization. A signed up student gets unlimited access to the course materials and may also take the exam repeatedly (until passed) as well as ones assigned by the tutor. Several tutors may work on creating the course that consists of: - Title and description - Video material - Slides - Examination questions Different formats video files may be used for the lecture. All uploaded videos shall be automatically converted to the format necessary for application and saved in a cloud storage Amazon S3.
