My name’s David Ingledow, and I am the founder of Ingledow Design. First and foremost, I am a Web Designer and Developer, with an extensive knowledge of XHTML and CSS. These computer languages are the building blocks for every webpage across the internet. I can ensure that your website is efficiently coded, which will not only ensure that all visitors have the same experience, but it will improve your site’s placement on search engines such as Google. Unlike many Web Developers, it is important that you are given full control over the content of your site. This is why I primarily use the WordPress Content Management System (CMS), which allows you to easily update the information on your site. Whether it is an image you want to upload; a new promotion that you want to publicise; or just about everything in between, you can do it with the WordPress CMS. I also use PHP (a programming language) to personalise the functionality of your site, so it does exactly what you want it to do. I have a strong belief that functional sites don’t have to be plain, and quite frankly boring. Why should the principles of typography, elegant graphic design and imaginative layouts be ignored? Using software such as Photoshop, I can create imaginative and unique layout designs that suit your needs. I cannot only create functional, yet fully-customised and elegant designs for you; but if you require it, I am able to develop interactive and immersive Flash web experiences.
