A mature man with a keen intelligence, awareness, and a strong moral compass. As a youth, the force driving me was to experience, authentically and intensely, all that life offered. I've wandered the streets with the homeless, been a successful executive, paddled whitewater, backpacked Europe, hobnobbed with politicians & diplomats, been a roughneck in the oil patch, counselled and cared for the disabled, and, finally went for the "Full Catastrophe" -- wife, 2 children, 2 cars, a suburban home, a dog, a cat, and a picket fence. Along the way I picked up two university degrees in Psychology and Journalism. Recently, I became disabled which may be a blessing in disguise -- a call to pursue my dreams of sharing what I've learned and written and experienced throughout the years -- once again, authentically and intensely.
