Wordpress-based Order Processing System
On the client-facing side is an order form populated by products and prices created on the admin side. The form pulls prices from the database dynamically using jQuery, so that totals can be added up in real time. The form also reveals and hides sections / options depending on user input. All error checking is done dynamically via JQuery. The admin side contains the same form, with options tailored for administrators only. There is also a dynamic table that allows the admin to search, sort, and inline-edit, any and all orders in the database, utilizing Datatables. Changes to order status, or updated totals, trigger different notification emails to be sent out to the client. Cron Jobs deal with sending interval-based notifications. There is a messaging system for the client to communicate with the company (and vice versa), and all messages are stored along with the client’s order in a conversation format. http://www.dijifi.com/order/
