Connecticut Alliance for Basic Human Needs
The Connecticut Alliance for Basic Human Needs (CABHN) is a statewide advocacy and resource network committed to helping CT families meet their basic needs, achieve self-sufficiency, and attain economic security by connecting them with resources and advocating for positive policy change. I served as Project Coordinator for CABHN for 4 1/2 years. During this time, Iprovided leadership on numerous successful advocacy campaigns, including reforming Connecticut's family welfare program, state hiring policies, and the federal Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program.
