I have written several bash shell scripts over the last several companies for which I have worked. Some were simple cron jobs that did specific tasks such as compressing log files that were greater than 30 days old. Others were more complex and would automatically install software (eDirectory in one case). I have a Linux box at home, so all I would need from you is the directory structure and what you want to do, then I can immulate that here and just send you the code to review when finished.
