[INTER] TRANS - INNOVATIVE PUBLIC ARCHITECTURE DESIGN

To 'inject' a healing design to transform a 'non-place' semi-public space in a real urban context. The idea was to design a system of small indoor and outdoor public spaces 'fragments' that generate a unitary urban piece 'the bigger picture' capable to re-qualify what it is about. The aim of this project was to redevelop an abandoned urban space at Viale Migliara in a diversity aspect. The concept of the new interventionhad taken inspiration of different fragments of local lifestyle in the city, meanwhile to explore the potential of the site as an 'in between' and 'passing through' space, hence to provide innovative urban lives experience of drive-through and pedestrian walk-way. Please visit my online portfolio: [login to view URL] I have completed the Master in Interior and Living Design with Distinctions at Domus Academy in Milan, Italy; and have previously completed the Bachelor of Interior Design with First Class Honours at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. I'm a Melbourne base Hong Kong interior designer with excellent creativity & fresh design ideas. I won a several national (Australia) & international design awards. I have high level 3D modelling & rendering skill, I can use many computer design programs: Rhino, AutoCad(2D&3D), 3DsMax, SketchUp, Vray, Adobe Series, etc. Throughout the year in Europe and four years of study in RMIT, I have developed a strong interest in Interior Design and have gained some knowledge and skills in this area. I had been working as a part-time Interior Designer at ID & A Pty. Ltd for three years during my study. Currently I am working as a freelance interior, graphic and product designer for various companies. With immense creativity and enthusiastic approach to design, I am always looking for opportunities to engage in challenging projects. My consistent hard work, motivation and talents have been awarded and celebrated with a few awards, including a second prize in Amuse Us Master Scholarship Design Award 2010 (Domus Academy, Milan), runner up mention in DIA - GOTYA Graduate of the Year 2009 Awards in Interior Design (Melbourne), Emerging interior designer of the year and first prize in category at International Design Award 2008 (Los Angeles) and First prize in Sebal Green Furniture Design Award 2008 (Melbourne).
