Lifetime artist and writer
On my artwork - I've been selling my artwork professionally since I was 12 years old. - fine art, commercial art, cartoons, filler art & illustration, murals, paintings and portraits, and in the last ten years ceramics, sculpture, and wheel thrown pottery, wood burning and carving, faux & genuine stained glass and jewelry. I work in oils, acrylics, watercolor, pen and inks, pencil, ceramic, medium and high fire stoneware and soft woods. I enjoy seeing the customer's face light up, so I always go the extra mile to please. On my writing - I wrote my first novel at 12 as well, and enjoy writing fiction, poetry, short stories, music, and have been formerly educated as a technical writer. However I've been a bit stingy with my writing, with few exceptions, having, never offered it to the public. After some urging, I decided to change that this year. I am a lifetime artist, potter, writer, illustrator from Gulf Coast of Mississippi with an omnivorous appetite for learning, reading, writing, and creating. I enjoy a wide variety of arts and crafts and interests, and am an avid do-it-yourself-er. My husband and I live on a small farm on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where we garden, make cheese, fish, and enjoy our animals and grandchildren.
