Business Plan
The client asked for a business plan for a new school he was starting. The plan was to cover the first five years of operation starting with the kindergarten section which has two years of study and all the way up to and including the third year of lower primary school. My role on the project was to carry out the following tasks: • Gather some information by carrying out some research on marketing and operations processes of a school. • Prepare financial projections and advice on the viability of the project. • Write a business plan. In doing this the attached business plan template for a new business was used. The template has the following sections: 1) Executive summary 2) Business opportunity and market research. 3) Operations processes. 4) Financial projections. The school has been in operation for the last three years and is a success.
