Tuscan is an existing iPhone app (freely available for download from the App Store). At present, the website can be visited at: http://strengthforcaring.com/careconnector The Johnson & Johnson Tuscan project's next step is to produce a combined web-based app and accompanying iPhone app that will offer many more new features than the existing free app. Both the web and mobile feature set will be nearly identical. The app is used to create a network of care givers who can collectively help to manage the treatment of one or more patients. The app will define roles such as patient, primary caregiver, family member, and friend. Each user is assigned one of these roles. Each role has certain privileges allowing those users view or possibly modify information about the patient.
