Having worked in IT and various employers for almost fifteen years, I decided to form my own consulting business. As is the case with most IT professionals, my beginnings were meager; working inbound support on a help desk at a northern Ontario ISP. I relocated in early 2000 to Toronto to focus on developing my chops. I was started as a desktop support analyst at a manufacturer of wireless broadband radios where I quickly rose through the ranks to Manager of IT, responsible for the corporate IT infrastructure consisting of multiple offices throughout Canada and the US. After surviving three mergers and one buyout, I assumed the role of QA Lead for the 900 MHz product line of broadband radios. Sadly this came to an end in February 2010 during a company restructuring. Shortly thereafter I began my consulting life and started Haven, leveraging both my wireless and IT management experience to help small to medium sized business realize their full growth potential through technology.
