A Luneburg Lens is a spherical graded index lens that can create directive beams out of a point source placed at the lens circumference. In this example, we use Matlab to solve the ray tracing equations (Hamilton equations) inside this nonhomogeneous medium to track the rays as they propagate from the point source on the lens rim.
