I am writing to give my recommendation for Helgi, who worked with us at Nordvik Digital AS as a developer for two years. Helgi was responsible for building and maintaining several of our internal systems and customer-facing applications. He is very skilled in .NET and also took on frontend work when it was needed, which was not something we expected when we hired him. He has a good understanding of the whole picture, not only the code but also servers, deployment, and how things should work together. He is the type of person who finds solutions on his own. We had a situation where our deployment process was manual and took many hours each time. Helgi set up automated pipelines and containerization so that everything went much smoother. This saved us a lot of time and reduced errors. What I appreciated most is that he is honest and straightforward. If something is not possible or will take longer, he says it directly.
