My name is Matthew Demaree, HTDNET actually started in 1994 as an unnamed company doing various 'freelancing' jobs around the neighborhood. I didn't start out of my garage but I did start out of my basement. Over the years the business grew and I purchased the domain [login to view URL] in 1997 thus making my company HyperText Design Network (HyperText Markup Language the official medium for designing webpages which the company name was derived from) In 1999 I had to turn the company off while I went to basic training in the United States Army. I joined the 1st Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment and later was a part of 1st Battalion 5th Calvary; this however is a story all in itself. During my time spent in Fort Hood, Texas I restarted the business under the same name and started some consulting in the local area also joining in on the first Cyber Cafe or CyberZones on the military installation. In 2003 I exited the US Army and moved back to my home town, Warrenton, Virginia and right away started working at promoting the business. The sales were great however as military service disrupted my business during the big .com boom I thus had lost many customers due to my absence. Joining Prince William Hospital as a subcontractor and later an employee I continued work with HTD as a sideline job. The US Army recalled me in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom July 31st of 2005 and I have been serving in Iraq for some time now with the 1st Battalion 167th CAV RSTA. I had enough off time to complete a redesign of my website and its services so when I move home around the start of 2007 the ground work is set. I may be 3000+ miles away from the local area but the internet is a wonderful tool which allows me to work on projects from afar. I think you will find my support and dedication toward my customers as something you will never find in other companies as I have been in customer support for 15 years the experience I have obtained makes HTDNET a wonderful choice to do business with. If you have any questions feel free to visit my website and please make use of the free services if not any of the paid services. See you at the site!
