As a graduate of The Banff Centre of the Arts and Toronto's Humber School for Writers, Isla Kay has been taught by authors Jacqueline Baker, Michelle Berry, Pamela Klaffke, and Meg Tilly. She has been a frequent contributor to The Calgary Herald's Books section as well as to Beatroute Magazine, and has published short fiction with Twenty3 Magazine, SpotLit Magazine, on SubtleTea, The Write Room, and Two Hawks Quarterly. She has proofread business content and copyedited promotional materials for a plethora of successful businesses and with a Bachelor of General Studies in Communication and Culture, is well-equipped to take on a variety of writing tasks. Isla Kay resides in Vancouver.
