My final project for HITCASE, I was asked to re-think the case and mounting system to broaden the audience and create a line of products for an everyday use-case. One major criteria was to simplify the mechanical attachment between case and mounts. Magnets were chosen for their simplicity and the face that they completely eliminate any kind of mechanism for attachment.

About Me

Based in Vancouver, Canada, I have degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design and over 11 years of professional experience. My design career began as the lead industrial designer for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games. Where my designs were showcased on the world stage. I was also heavily involved in overseeing the production of the elements I designed, including the planning, organization, build, quality control and logistics. I then founded my design studio in 2010, designing everything from toothbrushes to Prefabricated Architecture and everything in between. I've also worked under several brands managing design teams and projects from initial concept to final production. My hands on experience at every stage of the process gives me knowledge and answers to getting your product designed, visualized, prototyped, manufactured, packaged, branded and shipped to your existing/future customers.
