## BIO I am the owner of JKP Application Development Services : application development targeted at Microsoft Office and Excel, founded October 2003. Having used Spreadsheets for about 20 years (ranging from Lotus 123 to Quattro Pro and now Excel) I am an expert user/developer in Excel and VBA and an experienced user of the other Microsoft Office programs. I have been granted the MVP (Most Valuable Professional) award by Microsoft four times, for my outstanding work in newsgroups and forums. What is an MVP (Most Valuable Professional)? According to a recent publication by Microsoft:   “The MVP Program is focused on our relationships to and with customers via online and offline communities. The program celebrates our best, most active customers who have demonstrated a technical passion and willingness to share their expertise with others. These customers are the authors, enthusiasts, developers, academics, business, and technical decisionmakers who carry with them the voice, strength, and value of the Microsoft customer. They do this in the books, Web sites, code samples, and utilities they publish; in the newsgroups, message boards, and user group forums where they share; through the speaking engagements, Webcasts, and chats they host, and in the feedback through alphas, betas, and communities they provide to help Microsoft build better products that result in more satisfied, loyal, and passionate Microsoft customers." Worldwide there are approximately 75 Excel MVP's. Because of the profound Excel knowledge and thanks to the special (Microsoft) resources available to MVP's, projects granted to JKP-ADS will show a high level of professionalism and a have a short delivery time. Some recent projects include: 1. A reporting system for an American company with which they calculate the weekly pay and bonuses for their technicians and which reports their sales over various periods of time. The project involves Excel and VBA programming, using Microsoft ADO to extract data from an Access database. 2. For an American financial consultancy company: A system to import email messages from Outlook into Excel in order to be able to process the name and address data (entered in a webform) from people subscribing to a newsletter. This project involved programming Outlook from Excel, using VBA from within Excel. 3. An invoicing system for a local steel supplier in the Netherlands. This project involved writing (array) formulas, formatting sheets and writing VBA code to process the inputs. ## Area of Expertise Excel VBA Office Statistics modelling Data manipulation ADO

“As you'll discover, Jan is an MS Excel whiz. But what you wouldnt know is that Jan is like a pit-bull terrier. Once he's got his teeth into a project he just isnt planning to let go until it's successfully over !!! In spite of having difficulty finding the correct formulae to complete the job, Jan persisted until he got it right. This level of tenacity will be appreciated by any vWorker employer. Jan is unlikely to give up till he cracks your project. Good work Jan !! And I admire that PERSISTENCE more than you imagine!”
