AmericanStyle Magazine, Issue 75, Spring 2011

The first of my articles published nationally, "A Sublime Place to Make Art," appeared in AmericanStyle Magazine (2011). I had a truly lovely time getting a personal tour of acclaimed fabric artist Chris Roberts-Antieau's home and art studio, located just a few miles from my place. "Chris Roberts-Antieau's friends joke that the towering two-story entrance and main living space of her Manchester, Mich., home looks like a chapel. Chris thinks calling it "a Dr. Seuss house" is more fun, but she agrees that its open design and pristine natural surroundings are inspirational." I took the above photo when I was there. All of the photos featured in the article were taken by talented local Ann Arbor area photographer Lon Horwedel.
