Why green should be your cup of tea.
This is a full-page editorial illustration that accompanies an article about the benefits of drinking green tea. The cool green of the healthy figure contrasts dramatically with the medical concerns hinted at in the deep red background. The image was assembled form several hand-painted elements which were scanned into Photoshop, colour adjusted, and layered into the final composition. Colours and textures from the image were then applied to the text to create a harmonious double-page spread.
