Website for a village
KOT KALAN village is one of the 12,800 villages of Punjab, and is located in the Jalandhar district just outside Jalandhar city. It is situated on the national highway (Delhi to Amritsar) and has a population of approximately 2000 people, comprising of families including the following: Tiwana, Samra, Bansal, Nandra, Nijjar, Dhanda and Banga. It has two schools, one Primary and the other Middle Standard. It also has a sub branch of the Post Office as well as two Gurudwaras.
