As a practicing attorney turned non-practicing legal consultant, I focused on drafting and editing complex legal briefs for eight years. During that time, I also expanded my skill set to include copyediting, proofreading, blogging, web content creation, and WordPress. I am now a certified copy editor and full member of the American Copy Editors Society. My critical thinking skills, thoroughness, and eye for detail, which served me so successfully in the legal field, translated seamlessly into copyediting.
