Dissertation Work
These are four of eleven illustrations for my Master's in Medical Art dissertation work. For my dissertation, I researched, illustrated and presented, ten different heart conditions, and a healthy heart, and paired them with common sayings related to the description or symptoms of each condition, to make the information more appealing to the general public. I also designed and printed each condition in a greeting card format, rather than a traditional medical information pamphlet to make it more approachable to patients or loved ones of patients with each condition.
About Me
Hello! I am an artist, illustrator and designer ready to provide quality visuals to fit your needs. Originally from South Florida, I have a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Florida and a Master's of Science in Medical Art from the University of Dundee in Scotland. My skill set is varied and ever-growing, as I am a lifelong learner who is always looking for new subjects to master. I specialize in analog and digital illustrations and paintings of human and animal anatomy, cosmic imagery, and organic forms. I addition, I am skilled in graphic design techniques and concepts, specifically for web and print designs of infographics, logos, banners, posters, pamphlets, and book layouts. Outside of art and work, I help care for a small farm, do a lot of yoga, and enjoy many a hot cup of tea.
