TheAhmad Shahan residence a multistory building was constructed pure modernistic in terms of planning, elevations, including interior. Given the rough terrain and the limited building space this was a challenging project executed in an order to maximize utility. The first level consists of the garage, servant quarters, and a large storage area. The second level caters to a multipurpose library cum gallery. The main living area starts at the third level floor which is also the ground level. The living, dining, kitchens can be found on this floor balanced out by spacious open courtyards. The fourth level houses the living quarters and consists of two bedrooms and a master bedroom. A single open courtyard is employed from the lowest level, thus the small space is conveniently catered in an open manner. Terraces on each level enhance the open agenda of the residence. The international style has been employed in a cultural fashion here.
