Kareem is a filmmaker, cinematographer and film producer with an extensive filmmaking background who has worked in numerous high-profile projects. Kareem started off as assistant director in various Egyptian feature films and in number of Al-Jazeera documentaries, reaching up to directing two award-nominated independent short features and several documentary films for the United Nations and other esteemed organizations. In recent years, Kareem’s portfolio included directing films for the 2015 Handball World Cup Closing Ceremonies, 2011 Asian Football Cup, Ras Laffan Emergency and Safety College (RLESC), Qatar Foundation and others.
