CYCLE ASSESSMENT OF NATURAL FIBRE AGAINST GLASS FIBRE
This was an academic project for a Bachelor's degree student. I was tasked with comparing various fibre plants and arguing my points for or against glass fibre. what was my major concern in this project was to do a thorough review of the presently available literature concerning the effects that continuous production of glass fibre poses to the earth's atmosphere compared to the natural fibre. The researcher's main aim is also to establish the importance of using fibre crops and how they are being used for industrial application in relation to the synthetic fibres. Recommendations are also given for any future action that may need to be taken. The writer has also not only given a good description of what natural fibre is, but has also explained what is meant by life cycle assessment.
