Currently working at Coursera as a senior backend engineer, and nurturing pet projects in Java, node.js, vue, knockout, semantic ui. I'm looking for interesting opportunities to improve my skills and help people. While not a web designer, I enjoy UX design, and I can handle UI design tasks as well. I like listening to people, understanding their problems, finding out their needs and then designing and implementing solutions that make their lives better. I use the design thinking methodology, that I also teach to my students. I work in an agile way, delivering solutions the earliest possible, and evaluating with the client, reprioritizing and redesigning if necessary. I have a degree in machine learning and intelligent systems, but mostly worked with networks (both development and research) and as a Java developer. With all the new toys now available for AI, I would like to return to my original field.
