Wikipedia Microsite

Wikipedia Microsite

Visit Chefchaouen comes out of a Wikipedia microsite project, in which I chose a Wikipedia page, and then built a microsite inspired from its information. Chefchaouen is a small town in northern Morocco that is painted entirely blue. While there is stunning photography of the town, the current tourism websites for Chefchaouen do not match its raw and simple beauty. I wanted my microsite to capture the textures of the blue washed walls, and to convey the feelings of light and airiness when you walk around the town. About Me

I am a rising senior at Washington University in St. Louis, where I study Comparative Arts — a blend of language, applied art, art theory, and literature — and Design. As an emerging UX Designer, I care deeply about crafting experiences on the web that look compelling. I sweat the details, and I care about process; I believe empathy is key for great design. I have professional experience as a UX designer and photographer.
