CT1 Cordless Phone Firmware

Worked in a multidisciplinary team in a well known European company that produced reference designs of CT1 (900MHz) cordless feature phones. Programming was done in C language and in Assembler (8051) and the development of the Embedded Software (Firmware) involved knowledge of hardware debugging.\n\n I redesigned the communication protocol by first modeling it in a SDL simulator thus greatly reducing the bugs found during development. For the customer project I rewrote the telephony firmware to meet the strict rules and timing standards of the German Telecom. This customer version also included a scrambler IC for which I developed a rolling code algorithm.
